Wesley Bland

I am a graduate research assistant in the Innovative Computing Laboratory at the University of Tennessee run by Jack Dongarra. I work in the Distributed Computing research group lead by George Bosilca.

Currently I'm involved the PetaApps project relating to fault tolerance. I am working on developing new methods of fault tolerance in MPI, most recently by developing a new chapter for the MPI standard which is currently in the process of being proposed to the standardization body for future adoption. More information about this work can be found at www.fault-tolerance.org.
